Scifun

Sci-fun :

scifun is nothing but "science is fun".

Sci-fun is an activity based program. This program is inspired by the ideas of Mr. Arvind Gupta, and planned and organised by Dr. Anna Neena George, Associate Professor of GVM's Dr, Dada Vaidya College of Educatio.

For this scifun programme, we visit many school and teach students many difficult concepts in a simplified way using objects made from throw away trash.

The main aim of sci-fun is learning by doing.

Sci-fun visit to A. J. De. Almeida High School

 On 27/01/2018, we visited A. J. De. Almeida High School to conduct the Sci-fun program

Here, I demonstrated an experiment, "Three Holed Bottle" in the classroom. with the help of this demonstration, I explained the principle, that is, 'liquids exerts pressure on the walls of the container'.

Sci-fun visit to Harmal Panchakroshi High School

On 17th February 2018, we visited Harmal Panchkroshi High School with our Sci-fun team. 

Ex Chief minister, Sir Lakshmikant Parsekar, was the chief guest for this function.

Special Sci-fun visit to A. J. De. Almeida High School

A special sci-fun program conducted by us on 8th October 2019 at A. J. De. ALmeida High School for the students of VI and VII standard. This was the miniature version of actual sci-fun which we had organised.
