SCIENCE DAY :
We, the students of GVM's Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education celebrated "Science Day" on 28/02/2018.
The theme for the science day was decided as "SCIENCE : WONDERMENT AND PROWESS".
The program began with the inauguration of Science mela by the chief guest, Dr. Anil Dhinge, ex Principal of P.E.S. College. For Science mela we had demonstrated various experiments and models. Also, space videos and marine videos were displayed in two different classrooms.
The formal function began with welcome song, and presentation on Sir C. V. Raman, followed by a presentation on Scifun.
Students from different subjects like History, Geography, and languages, presented how science is related to their respective subject in the form of poems or presentations.
Teachers also participated in the game 'Just A Minute' where gave a talk on interesting topic for one minute.
The program also consisted of dance performance. At the end our Science teacher proposed vote of thanks.
finally, we celebrated birthday of our lovely ma'am Dr. Anna Neena George.

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY 2019
Theme: "Exploring Science"
National Science Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at GVM's Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education, Ponda-Goa on 28th February 2019.
The Chief Guest for the function was Dr. Uday Gaunker (Deputy Director of Education, South Goa, Principal of Damodar Higher Secondary School Gudi, Paroda, Quepem-Goa and Ex-Headmaster of Holy Cross Institute, Quepem-Goa).
The function was also graced by the presence of Dr. Allan Abreo (Principal of GVM's Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education and Shri Bhaskar Khandeparker (President of the GVM's General Body).
the first year and second year B.Ed. Science students along with their mentor Dr. Anna Neena George, put in great efforts to organisze this event. The theme kept for science day this year was Exploring Science. I along with Sampada was the in charge of science mela, that was held from the ground floor to second floor of the college building. This mela included a lot of varieties that comprised of the following sections.

· Quiz corner and sound scapes
· Mini Inox screening space and marine videos
